File Size Limits
Current size limits for each file category and why limits help keep the service fast and safe.
Default limits
- Images: 5 MB
- PDFs: 30 MB
- Audio: 20 MB
- Video: 100 MB
- Office documents: about 30 MB
- Spreadsheets: about 30 MB
Why limits exist
Limits keep processing fast, reduce abuse, and protect server resources. They also help prevent users from uploading unsupported or unusually risky files.
What to do with large files
Compress or export a smaller copy, then scan and clean that copy. For video, consider exporting a share-ready version before metadata cleanup.
